Fees for Service
All fees for patients without medical insurance are assessed on a sliding scale and based on family income. Various discounts are available based on the following criteria:
- Uninsured patients: As a Community Health Center, the BCHC provides the a discount to uninsured patients and their dependents. To recieve this discount, the person/family must document family income and household size.
- Family Planning: Through the Title X program, the BCHC offers all family planning services on a sliding fee scale.
- Vaccines: Through the Vaccines for Children Program, the BCHC offers vaccines on a sliding fee scale.
- Lab work and Radiology: The BCHC maintains contracts with Quest Labs and Lexington Diagnostic to offer certain procedures on a sliding fee scale.
Deposits: All self-pay patients are asked to bring a $25 deposit at the time of their appointment. Patients with private insurance should bring the standard co-pay amount specified by their insurance provider.
